  • Hi Matt, thanks for all the great work, books, support and all your drumming/teaching contributions …

  • Hi everyone 🙂
Since I’ve been taking lessons here with Matt, I feel that I’ve sharpened my drumming skills.
I had never really worked with the Sticking Level Systems much before, but kind of just did it naturally. Matt has shown me a way to implement the Sticking Level Positions with an exact science, which I’m very appreciative to him for.
Also I have so many PDF Print Outs, that I had to buy a larger folder to put them all in.
Before I started here in Feb 2014, I wouldn’t have thought Stick Control had so many different ways to be applied to the Drum Kit 🙂
    Thanks very much Matt.

  • Hi Matt!

Thanks for all the drumming groups you run on Facebook. So many people email us at Drum Talk TV asking what we think of this method–that method, this gear–that gear – all sorts of questions we will not give our opinions on as a company and I ALWAYS refer them to your groups. I tell them they are all great places to pose their questions, whether they are searching for advice or wanting to start discussions, because there is such a diverse group of people with different experience to keep these forums interesting.

Thank you for providing so many groups based on so many topics of drumming!

  • Love the professionalism and classic approach to the rudimental rules of percussion. Nice to see people like myself that learned theory and fundamentals are far and few these days. Seems more so that there are a lot of beaters. and so with that being said. Thank You.

  • Hello I’ve just got back into drumming recently, and I’m looking forward to your classes, this is what I need for that empty hole between lessons from my instructor, when I was younger I had a 32 piece tama kit someone broke into my home and destroyed it ,this happen when I was about 10,my mother was furious, they destroyed everything we couldn’t save anything, so I stopped playing, so here I am 43 years later starting over, I never lost my love for drums just couldn’t afford a kit I would play air drums and mess around kn friends kits ,so in august of this year I bought myself a birthday present a 6 piece tama imperial star kit and started playing, I found you on YouTube while looking for lessons ,so thank you for helping a old school drummer like myself, I’m looking forward to all your lessons sincerely Nick Padulese

  • Thank you Matt for helping me set up this account. I look forward to learning in detail about the hand techniques you teach. I have always admired Joe Morello and have worked out of his Master Studies book for years. I just never had an instructor close by that taught Mr. Morello’s techniques. I also come to this site to see and learn how you teach these techniques and how you have applied them to different situations. I’m sure there’s more here for me to learn about drumming that have yet to encounter over the years.
I’m looking forward to seeing what this site has in store.
